Installation Information
The ignition key switch comes with a dedicated mounting bracket designed for installation on the motorcycle's upper triple clamp, directly in front of the handlebar.
General Installation Steps:
Remove the front number plate or headlight assembly to access the mounting area.
Position the supplied mounting bracket on the existing threaded holes of the upper triple clamp and secure it with the appropriate screws.
Route the ignition switch wiring neatly along the motorcycle's existing wiring harness.
Remove the fuel tank to access the ignition coil and the required electrical connections.
Connect the key switch wiring to the motorcycle's starter or ignition circuit according to the model-specific installation instructions.
Reassemble the motorcycle and verify that the key switch operates correctly.
Important Installation Notes:
On Enduro models, the key switch is connected to the motorcycle's starter/shutdown wiring. The original headlight switch remains unchanged.
On Motocross models, additional wiring connections are required to integrate the key switch with the ignition circuit and optional headlight controls.
Depending on the motorcycle's electrical system, additional wiring or electrical modifications may be necessary.
Installation requires basic mechanical and electrical knowledge. Professional installation by a qualified motorcycle technician is strongly recommended.
