1. Scope
This policy applies to the Movetronix iOS application.
2. Data We Collect
The App does not collect any personal data. It contains no analytics, no advertising and no trackers, and transmits no information to us or to third parties.
3. How the App Works
The App communicates directly with your Movetronix bike light over Wi-Fi, either on your local network or via the light's own access point. This communication does not pass through the internet or our servers.
Your colour presets and paired light settings are stored only on your iPhone and are removed when you uninstall the App.
4. Permissions
- Local Network: required by iOS so the App can find and control your light.
- Wi-Fi Configuration: used to connect your iPhone to the light's network during setup.
- Location: required by iOS only to read the Wi-Fi network name so the App can confirm you are connected to your light. Your position is never determined, stored or transmitted.
You can withdraw these permissions at any time in Settings on your iPhone.
5. Third Parties
The App contains no third-party SDKs. Links to our online shop open in your browser, where our general Privacy Policy applies. Apple may collect download and usage statistics independently, under Apple's own privacy policy; we receive only anonymous aggregate figures.
6. Your Rights
As the App processes no personal data, there is normally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you contact us for support, we process your message under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and retain it only as long as necessary. Your GDPR rights and how to exercise them are described in our general Privacy Policy. You may also lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.gpdp.it).
7. Changes
A future version of the App will offer an optional customer account login, which will involve processing personal data. This policy will be updated before that version is released.
